Head over to Limitedpressing.com to bid on a 39/smooth test pressing LP. This is the original Lookout pressing, and comes with an info sheet, made for distributors. Around 30 were made. More info on the 39/smooth test pressing: here. The auctions on limitedpressing.com is a charity auction, all proceeds will go to doctors without borders. Auction ends on January 31.

A limited edition Japanese 21st Century Breakdown 'tour edition' is set for release on January 13, 2010. Catalogue number WPZR-30361. It's a 2 disc release, first disc is the 19 track 21st Century Breakdown, bonus track 'Lights out'. Bonus disc is a DVD with live tracks recorded live at Abbey Road on May 4 2009. Tracklist:

November 13, 2009:
New section in the discography: Box sets. The new 7" vinyl singles box is added to it and so is Take 2 Dookie/ Nimrod, an Australia only 2 cd set. Also available now, 21st Century Breakdown 2 track CD single, http://bit.ly/4xtOzq.
According to the Spin article containing the reissue dates from all albums, Bullet in a bible was supposed to come out on November 10, apparently this is postponed. Green Day will release a Japan only live EP called 'Last night on earth: live in Tokyo'. Release date is set on November 11, 2009. Catalogue number: WPCR-13630. This is a CD only release, all tracks recorded live on May 28, 2009 in Akasaka, Tokyo, Japan. Tracklist:

New Green Day single 'East jesus nowhere' is scheduled for release on October 19, 2009. This is a US and UK single only. 2 Different promo's have allready showed up, a UK promo and a US promo (PRO-CDR-522450). UK promo comes with artwork (see picture), the US promo comes in with a custom Reprise US backsleeve. You can find these on eBay.com and eBay.co.uk |

A new Green Day 7" boxset has been released the 15th of September. A one time pressing of 2500, this box includes 21(!!) 7inches, some of which have never been released before, with new artwork. This box is only available at greendaymusic.com. |

July 20, 2009:
Several green day records have been released since the last update. Released on july 13, the 21 guns 2 track cd single (W817CD) and the 21 guns 2 track UK 7" single on clear vinyl (W817). Comes in a clear sleeve with sticker. On july 14 green day's 6th album 'Warning' was reissued on vinyl. Next reissue is International superhits, to come out on August 11. All releases mentioned above will be added to the discography shortly. |

May 6, 2009:
A very rare and cool 7" EP added to the site (listed in Related records). "Metallica - 53rd & 3rd". That's right, Metallica. This 7" on blue vinyl has Metallica on side A and Green Day and the Offspring on side B. All 3 bands doing Ramones covers, these songs can also be found on 'We're a happy family' - A tribute to Ramones (Columbia 509942 2). The 7" (Columbia Gabba1), also on Columbia is a real gemm and very very limited. One of the bands (which one, I don't know) objected and that's why it has been withdrawn and therefore so rare. 21st Century breakdown will be out on May 15 but can allready be pre-ordered on several sites. The following different versions are allready available for pre-orders: 18 CD, 18 track LP, Deluxe edition (digibook), LTD to 3000 CD + 3 x 10" (only available at the official green day music store) and Japanese release with bonus track.
Not confirmed yet but apparently the vinyl release is a 3LP box set (not the same as the limited edition3 x 10" though). |
